Private Levi Frizzell, born September 12, 1845, worked as a carpenter and lived in the Westminster area. Enlisting in Company H of the Fifth Maryland Infantry Regiment on March 1, 1865 near the end of the war, his military service was short. He was discharged from service on September 1, 1865. Returning from service, he married Annie R. Frizzell, and the couple had seven children: Alice, Roy, Silas, Stuard, Gertrude, Mildred, and Charlotte. Private Frizzell died on August 19, 1925.
