Known as "Harry" he was the brother of Efthimios (Tom) and the son of Zoe Amprazes. The brothers arrived in 1908 on board the ship, Canopic. The brothers first settled in Manchester, NH to seek employment in the textile mills. They both moved to Gettysburg, PA in 1912. Harry moved to Westminster in 1918. In 1921, Harry escorted his mother, Zoe (age 65) and her grandson Vasilios (Bill) from Greece to America arriving NYC January 5, 1921. In 1928, Harry traveled to Greece to marry Vasiliki (Bessie) Voulkias-Tsaknis. Returning to America with his new bride, they set up home in an upstairs apartment at 7 East Main St. Harry later owned the Coney Island Lunch Room at 38 1/2 West Main Street and Harry's Lunch. Harry returned to Greece in 1933 returning to Westminster in June 1946. In 1938 he sold the Coney Island Lunch Room to his nephew, Steve Holevas. When he returned to Westminster after WWII he opened Harry's Lunch at 52 W. Main St. His daughter, Zoe, and her husband, George Sirinakis, operated it until 1987 when they retired. The new owner was their son, Harry, who changed the name to Harry's Main Street Grille and operated it until he retired in 2016. It is now Rock Sale Grille.
